Event

Forum Energii invites you to take part in an online conference entitled "Antismog Roadmap. Inspirations from Żywiec and other Polish cities", which will be held on 22 April. Will it be possible to increase the RES share in the local energy mix? To what extent? How to reduce heat demand in buildings? When will air pollution be reduced? What will be the costs of the change? What do the experts recommend? What inspiring examples of smog actions are already being introduced in other cities? The conference will be held in Polish.

During the conference we will summarize the activities which we have been carrying out in Żywiec since June 2019, together with KAPE and IDEA/NCBJ. We hope that the conclusions we reached may be interesting for other local governments. We want to discuss them with experts and inspire each other to act.

The aim of the project that started in June 2019 is to prepare a concept and strategy for reducing smog from heating until 2030 in Żywiec.

Initiative "Anti-Smog Roadmap for Żywiec. Clean air through clean heat until 2030", is implemented within the project "International Cooperation Forum - Clean heat" and funded by the European Climate Initiative - EUKI and the German Ministry of the Environment.
